Chikankari is a traditional Hand Embroidery style mostly worked on by artisans in and around villages of Lucknow in the North Indian heartland .
Lucknow city is the most renowned place for Chikankari work. Chikankari is totally hand-woven, which implies each piece and the design is unique and no two pieces are 100% identical.
WORK/VALUE ADDED: Mukaish (also called as Mokaish or Mukeish) embroidery involves twisting thin metallic threads to create patterns all over the fabric. This time and labour intensive craft is used widely to enhance the beauty of a chikankari garment In the olden days, Mukaish work made use of precious metals such as gold and silver to embellish fabrics and it was initially patronised extensively by royalty.

SIZE XXL -Bust : 46 Inches (Best Fit for Women with 42 Inches Bust -body measurements) ,
Each item is hand measured by me personally and all sizes mentioned in my listings are Actual Garment Measurements. If you prefer a comfortable fit for Tops, Tunics, Kurtas and Kurtis, Keep adequate looseness at the chest. It is generally kept 3 to 4 inches larger than your Bust/chest measures. For example, If your Bust (Body) measurement is 38 inches, the Top/Kurti with bust size of 42 inches at my shop will fit you.
Long Kurtis / Tunics suits to any occasions, functions and in party too. If you are willing to look taller then give your first preference to long kurti and pair it with leggings or churidars.
